Story Time with Doug Graham & Lori Yeary, a Cabaret Concert
Story Time evolves around songs from Broadway shows that are able to tell their own story, even without the rest of the musical and songs. The songs will be performed both individually as solos by each of the artists as well as some duets, as they were in the original shows. Joining Doug and Lori will be Constance Grody who will accompany them on the baby grand piano, which is done in a cabaret-concert style, which is the signature of the series, that is now in its 8th season and produced by Les Michaels.
Doug Graham is well known in the desert as a singer; dancer; choreographer; voice, dance, and piano teacher. His local productions include Cats at Palm Canyon Theater, which he also played on Broadway and the National Tour. Other professional shows include Bob Fosses Dancin, Chicago, and Phantom Of The Opera. Locally Doug has performed numerous cabaret shows and hes choreographed and appeared in several productions for Musical Theatre University led by David Green at Rancho Mirage High School. Lori Yeary is a Dallas native with extensive experience in music, with roots in Country, Popular, Rock, Rhythm And Blues, Gospel, Musical Theater, and her first love, Jazz. Having played most every club in Texas, she journeyed to Palm Springs last summer to the open arms of the music scene which encourage her to come for the season, and has been performing weekly at several local venues.
