Composing Myself
John Thomas presents his debut piano concert in New York City titled Composing Myself: Original Melodies & Music of Our World on Saturday March 10 at 8pm at St. Johns Lutheran Church (81 Christopher Street). This event features tenor Christopher Sidoli singing selections from their recording Look to the Stars, a celebration of the stars, the moon, oceans, rivers, love and the human spirit.
John Thomas is a pianist and composer whose original music is inspired by the interaction of human life and nature on the backshore of Provincetown and Cape Cod, New Orleans rhythms, gospel music, and the traditional folk melodies of Bulgaria. His music runs a wide gamut of styles: classical, Broadway, rhythm and blues, Balkan, Latin and more. He also is a music director, actor, singer, and producer of concert events in Provincetown MA. The creative life has no borders.
