The African American Heritage Preservation Program provides capital grants to assist in the preservation of buildings, sites, or communities of historical and cultural importance to the African American experience in Maryland. The program is jointly sponsored by the Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture and the Maryland Historical Trust.
This workshop is for anyone interested in applying for an AAHPP grant. The workshop will cover: - property and project eligibility - types of work that can be funded - selection criteria - the application process
This workshop will be held at the Fairmount Heights Public Library. Parking is limited, with some street parking available, so please consider car pooling if members of the same organization will be attending.
