Kaia Kater at Folk All Y'all

Despite her ridiculously young age, Kaia Kater has a rich, low vocal tone that flows over her sharp, insightful lyrics like velvet covering unpredictable terrain. A graduate of the first Appalachian Program at West Virginias Davis & Elkins College, her playing is guided by centuries-old tradition but takes on her own unique perspective. Shes been on the road constantly, opening for folks like Rhiannon Giddens. Weve literally been working since June of 2016 to bring Kaia to Memphis, because thats how excited we are to see her perform live. We know yall will be, too.

The good folks at Beale Street Caravan will be recording this show for global distribution and have offered their very own studio for our performance space.
