Frankenstein Conference Lecture: The Frankenstein Challenge
David Baltimore, President Emeritus and Robert Andrews Millikan Professor of Biology at the California Institute of Technology, discusses the challenge of globally controlling technology when potentially 200 different jurisdictions might be involved. The lecture is presented in conjunction with a two-day conference at The Huntington, May 11-12, which marks the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein or, The Modern Prometheus.
