A moving and committed trip into the heart of the African Great Lakes area, regularly aflame since the 1994 Rwanda genocide. Solange, Justine, Therese, Florence, Sindra, Rachel, Faustine and Lydia have all accepted to pose for the french artist Titouan Lamazou and to confide to the camera. They tell us their stories of the massacre, the exodus and the rapes committed both by the rebels and the regular army soldiers, without ever giving up their hope.
