RETURN TO REICHENBACH is a one-hour character-based documentary that weaves together the stories of two women in Hitler's Third Reich - one orphaned by the regime and the other possibly the Nazi guard who protected her - and witnesses their fraught reunion more than half a century later.
The film intimately explores and contrasts their WW2 experiences, their crushing losses, and the scars they still carry. We experience history through their eyes - an everyday German woman and a Jewish girl - and come to understand how it irrevocably shaped their lives.
Through objective storytelling, RETURN TO REICHENBACH gives a voice to two women on opposite sides of Hitler's Third Reich. Both outline in sharp relief the reality of the suffering for everyone caused by the war.
