New Act Competition - Heat 5
The Bath Comedy Festival New Act of the Year Competition sees over 100 of the best up-and-coming comics in the UK compete for the title.
There are three heats at The Igloo, two at the Westgate and seven at The Bath Brew House throughout the Festival, compered by popular comedians.
Tonight's compere is Liam Pickford - A unique brand of stand-up, mixing cleverly honed material and punchlines with excitingly unpredictable audience interaction. All this, mixed in with a hint of 'whimsy' and clever observations whilst delivered in a wonderfully unenthusiastic and grumpy style.
This year Widcombe Social Club will be host two two Semi-Finals on Fri 13th April, and the Grand Final on Sunday 15th April, compered by Geoff Whiting (details here).
