SOLD OUT: Politics and Prose and Buck's Fishing and Camping Present a Tuscan Lunch with FRANCES MAYES
Join us for a family-style Tuscan lunch and reading to celebrate Frances Mayes' newest novel, WOMEN IN SUNLIGHT, in which four American women become unexpected friends when they move to a beautiful villa in Tuscany. Mayes is the beloved and bestselling author of the 2006 memoir UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN, as well as SWAN, BELLA TUSCANY, and many more works of fiction, travel writing, and memoir - all of which feature plenty of sumptuous Tuscan food and wine, and many celebratory, communal meals. Lunch with Mayes at neighborhood restaurant Buck's Fishing and Camping will feature a menu and wine pairings inspired by WOMEN IN SUNLIGHT, overseen by Amy Brandwein, chef and owner of Centrolina and 2017 finalist and 2018 semi-finalist for the James Beard Foundation's Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic award.
