Shira - "Am I Beautiful" Music Video Release Show for International Women's Day

NYC based singer-songwriter SHIRA is putting together a special Music Video Release Show for International Women's Day. We'll be screening the video and playing a concert with some amazing female guest artists! All proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The music video is for her song, Am I Beautiful, off her debut album, Till The Sun Comes. SHIRA wrote the song for her good friend Shirin Tinati, after she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

Shirin is in remission now. She is an incredible photographer and director. This video is the first project she's directed since her recovery. The video depicts the journey of their relationship as Shirin was fighting the disease. It aims to raise awareness for breast cancer and how important support (especially by the women in the patient's life) is to the healing process.

SHIRA chose to release it on International Women's Day as a powerful message to All Women that we are beautiful and are our biggest allies.
