Comedy on Elm Street with Kevin Flynn, Bob Niles, Drew Dunn and Ben Quick
Comedy returns to the Elm Draught House Cinema, Elm Street, Millbury, Mass. on Saturday, March 10 with another amazing lineup including Kevin Flynn, Bobby Niles, 2017 Boston Comedy Festival winner Drew Dunn, and Ben Quick.
Showtime is 9:30 p.m. and tickets are $15 in advance from the theater or online, or by calling (800) 838-3006. Show night tickets will be available at the door for $18.
Professional soccer player-turned-comedian/actor/broadcaster Kevin Flynn has been impressive in all three areas. A winner of the Boston Comedy Riot, he appeared in comedy specials and acted in The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller; Me, Myself and Irene with Jim Carrey; Osmosis Jones with Billy Murray, and Sex and the City. He hosted The Discovery Channels Go For It, an extreme outdoor adventure show where he swam with sharks, jumped out of airplanes and scaled dangerous peaks, He then created a one-man show that won the Best of Fest at the Boston Comedy Festival and HBOs prestigious U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. A two-time UMass soccer captain once named the Player of the Decade, he played for the Major Indoor Soccer League and has covered the World Cup for Fox Sports, ESPN and ABC. He currently hosts ESPNs popular Over the Ball with Kevin Flynn podcast, which was once named the Major League Soccer Talk Show of the Year.
Bob Niles is a crowd-pleasing comedian all over New England, and returns to the Elm for the first time since 2015. He headlines shows at comedy clubs, Elks clubs, Lions clubs, country clubs, Rotary clubs, and just regular traffic rotaries. He has lived an unusual and unorthodox life, and when he examines this life for people to see, the results are pure dynamite! Bob was just 20 years old when his first child was born, and his second child came when he was 46!! What happened in between gets looked at and the results are hilarious.
New Hampshires Drew Dunn winner of the Boston Comedy Festival in 2017 -- performs all over New England and New York City. Coming from a large family and being a young newlywed provides this comic with endless stories to entertain crowds of any age. In addition to the BCF, he won the New Hampshires Best New Comic Contest, the Beantown Comedy Riots. And was featured in the prestigious Great American Comedy Festival in Johnny Carsons hometown of Norfolk, NE
Combining a wide array of talents from the rhetorical to the musical, Ben Quick's energetic presence is as undeniable as it is uncompromising. Whether by song or by joke, his innocent and likable approach dares you to explore the depths of his analytically neurotic mind. Ben was recently featured in San Francisco's Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival, has been a comic in residence at the Comedy Studio and has toured across the Northeast for Comedy Blast, reaching audiences young and old.
