Downeast
USA, 2012, 80 minutes Directors: Ashley Sabin & David Redmon
Downeast is an experiential story that unfolds over the course of a year-and-a-half in the small lobster village of Prospect Harbor, Maine. The economy, small town politics, and unprecedented unemployment all factor in the success or failure of the new lobster processing plant coming to town. DOWNEAST explores the re-industrialization of the United States by using one factory and one grant as an example.
