"Steepestdescent" is a geomorphology event, held this year on the sunday before the EGU meeting (Sunday 8th of April 2018).
Our objective is to add one day of focused interactions and networking between people interested in surface dynamics in a broad sense. We hope this will serve the growing community of surface dynamics in Europe, and that it will be a good opportunity to foster special atmosphere and good spirit among us.
The day's schedule is composed of 3 research talks and informal discussion around your posters + time for coffee and pastries (all included).
Everyone interested in geomorphology and earth surface processes is encouraged to attend! Bring, display and discuss your EGU poster.
Speakers:
13h15 Kathryn Fitzsimmons "Climate change at the continental pole of inaccessibility perspectives from the Silk Road piedmont"
15h15 Sébastien Carretier "Millennial dispersion rate of river pebbles from 10Be and models"
17h15 Isabel Montanez "Reconstructing CO2-climate-vegetation feedbacks during Earths penultimate icehouse"
Looking forward to seeing you in Vienna! The SteepestDescent Team
