This April, Dance Mission Theater will celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Grrrl Brigade, Dance Mission Youth Dance Company. Based on Dance Brigade's approach to dance theater with a political message, Dancing on the Edge of the World takes the audience on a journey through the people's history. Through fierce dancing and ground shaking taiko drumming the Grrrl Brigade remembers and honors those that have truly built our America.
The GRRRL Brigade is an intensive dance/leadership development program designed to provide high quality dance training, performance opportunities, and a sense of self-empowerment for San Francisco's girls ages 9 to 18. The goal is to give the girls, their parents, and our audience the inspiration, magic, and hope only evocative dance theater can spark in creating a just and peaceful world.
Saturday night includes a Silent Auction and Gala and is a benefit for Grrrl Brigade.

Rebel - $50: Entitles the purchaser to one ticket to performance, silent auction access, and after performance dessert reception
Warrior - $100: Entitles the purchaser to 1 ticket to performance, admission to the VIP Gala reception, first access to silent auction, and after performance dessert reception

Revolutionary - $500: Entitles the purchaser to 4 tickets to performance, prime seating, admission to the VIP Gala reception, first access to silent auction, after performance dessert reception, and business card size listing/ad in program)
Luminary - $1,000: Entitles the purchaser to 8 tickets to performance, prime seating, admission to the VIP Gala reception, first access to silent auction, after performance dessert reception, 1/4 page size listing/ad in program & special mention from stage
