(mostly) TRUE THINGS
(mostly) TRUE THINGS is a game wrapped in a storytelling show that features true stories - with a twist - told by people drawn from the fantastic pool of Moth-winning, comedy-wrangling, heartstrings-pulling storytellers in the New York area. The game is this: 4 storytellers share true stories from their own life, but 3 include carefully-crafted little lies. The audience gets to ask questions of the storytellers, then votes for the person they think told it straight. There are prizes involved, if you can believe a thing like that. And there are songs - written and performed by show host/creator Jude Treder-Wolff and composer Wells Hanley - to set up each stage of the game. Complete information available at www.mostlytruethings.com.
Host/creator Jude Treder-Wolff was recently featured as the guest monologist for The Armando Diaz Experience at The Magnet Theater, has been on the RISK! live show and podcast, Take Two Storytelling, Bady House Storytelling Concert, Talk Therapy, Now You're Talking, and many others. Her solo show This Isn't Helping was selected for the Whitefire Solo Theatre Festival in Sherman Oaks, CA and the Speak Up! Rise Up! Storytelling Festival at the off-Broadway Connelly Theater in NYC.
