Rhythms Of The Heart by Maine filmmaker Thom Willey. The documentary film depicts Passamaquoddy canoe and basket craftsman David Moses Bridges and his journey to preserve family, life, and tradition while facing a life threatening illness. Original music for the film composed and recorded by Southwest Harbor's Chris Gray. A lifetime resident of Southwest Harbor, Willey's work has included the Motion Picture and Television industry since 1990. Such films as Dan In Real Life, Courage Under Fire, and multiple Stephen King film adaptations contribute to his resume. Rhythms Of The Heart was funded in part by a grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.
