Black Thorn Shuttle Service:
Now you can relax and not worry about looking for parking, walking on city streets at night with your play bag, or changing from fetish attire to street attire with Black Thorn's convenient, new shuttle service! Attendees can get to know each other or even negotiate scenes during the ride!
We have a wonderful community member who will be providing round trip pick-ups and drop-offs for event attendees. This shuttle is scheduled for two locations and will cater to both non-drivers and drivers.
Non-drivers will be picked up at Lake Merritt BART. Drivers will be picked up in the Lakeshore parking lot located under the 580 freeway, across from the Grand Lake Theater (free parking after 6:00 and all day on weekends). Both of these locations are less than 10 minutes away from Black Thorn.
This shuttle service is important in order to maintain a sustainable community play space in a residential neighborhood. The long term survival of Black Thorn and Sacred Muse (coming soon!) depends on keeping a low profile in the neighborhood by lessening the number of cars taking up parking spaces and minimizing the foot traffic up and down the street. It's also environmentally friendly!
While it is not mandatory that you use the shuttle service, the shuttle service fee will be paid by everyone in order to support this ongoing endeavor. Our round trip shuttle service fee is $7.00 and has been incorporated into the ticket price.
Look for our sign, Ds (Dungeon shuttle ð), in the front and rear window.
BART DETAILS:
Lake Merritt BART arrivals should follow the exit sign labeled 8th St. / Laney College. The pick-up will be on Oak St. around the corner from 8th St. Below are the pick-up / drop-off times for that location:
6:55, 7:55, 8:55, 9:55, 10:55, 11:55
PARKING LOT DETAILS:
The Lakeshore Ave. parking lot arrivals should look for our vehicle on the left side of the parking lot entrance. Below are the pick up / drop off times for that location:

By signing up for and attending this event you agree to the following Waiver, Release of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement:
THIS AGREEMENT CONSTITUTES AN EXPRESS CONTRACTUAL WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM ALL LIABILITY FOR THE PREMISES OWNER AND INDEMNITY FOR ALL THIRD PARTY CLAIMS ("AGREEMENT").
I agree that all activities performed while on premises are legal, consensual acts between adults and that I and my guests will behave in a safe and sane manner.
I certify that I am at least 21 years old and legally allowed to enter into this agreement. Prior to signing this agreement,
I understand I have had the opportunity to consult an attorney about the effect of this agreement. Further, I understand that I am accountable for my own actions as an adult of majority age.
I waive and hold harmless the owner of the premises for any liability that may occur while on the premises during such activities or from the condition of the space.
I agree that I will not engage in breath control games or fire play at any time while on premises.
I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the owner of the premises from any and all third-party claims which may arise.
In the event of a breach on my behalf of these terms, I hereby accept any and all liability as a result.
I agree that this Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of California and that if any portion of the Agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the other provisions shall continue in full legal force and effect.
