Fruit Tree Grafting Workshop - Hands On!
Learn how to produce your own fruit trees inexpensively, or preserve the lineage of an old apple tree growing on your property. Master Gardeners will give a short overview of the grafting process and demonstrate the techniques for Whip & tongue grafting of new trees.
This class is hands-on and participants will graft dwarf apple stock to take home and plant. Care for your newly grafted trees will be discussed.
Please bring a sharp grafting knife if you have one - highly encouraged (you can get them on Amazon for $26)and clothes that are warm and can get a bit dirty.
Class size is limited. Location provided upon registration. Cost: $18; includes supplies.

Meeting location is inside the gate - greenhouse complex. Watch for person who will direct you to the spot.
