The final concert in the 2018 VOX series sees Phaedra Ensemble explore ides of place, nationhood and belonging through works inspired by the human voice.
Phaedra ensemble was formed in 2014 by violinist Phillip Granell and Composer Jamie Hamilton to perform new music with a particular focus on cross genre collaboration. Recent performances include Kings Place, The Barbican, The Southbank centre, Cafe OTO and a residency at NYU Abu Dhabi with Susheela Raman, as well as broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, Here and Now and Resonance FM.
