Joshua Hettwer and Jack Radsliff CD release event
Join Joshua Hettwer and Jack Radsliff as they celebrate the release of their new CDs. This tour will be the first chance to see this music performed outside of the Pacific Northwest. Hettwer and Radsliff will be joined by locals Giulio Cetto (bass) and Mike Quigg (drums).

Joshua Hettwer is a musician, composer, arranger, educator and transcriber based in Eugene, Oregon. As a multi-instrumentalist, Joshua has played a wide range of repertoire varying from contemporary and classic jazz for combo and big band settings to new music and myriad orchestral works. His versatility has earned him many prestigious performing opportunities, most notably as the newest member of the Cherry Poppin Daddies, with whom he plays alto saxophone and clarinet. He also performs regularly with the Emerald City Jazz Kings on clarinet and saxophone, and has performed as part of the Oregon Festival of American Music for its last three instances. In a small group setting, Joshua is a regular member of many local ensembles, including his own quartet, which showcases his ability as a composer by playing his original music. Joshua both bachelors and masters degrees in jazz studies from the University of Oregon.

Jack Radsliff is a guitarist/composer born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently residing in Eugene, OR. Jack has developed a reputation as a sideman that has led him to work with some of the Pacific Northwests biggest names including Tony Glausi, Joshua Hettwer, Idit Shner, Siri Vik, Evynne Hollens, and many more. Jack has performed in nearly every major venue in Eugene (SHEDD, Hult Center, WOW Hall, Jazz Station, etc.) and many more around the West Coast (Saratogas Cafe Pink House, Portlands Michelles Pianos Bends Tower Theater, etc.). Recently, Jacks playing has been featured on recordings from Tony Glausi, Joshua Hettwer, Ben Latorraca, and Jon Corona. Jack has recently focused more on his role as a teacher working with students as both a private teacher and as a graduate teaching fellow at the University of Oregon where he is pursuing a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies. In recent years, Jack has stepped into the role of bandleader, releasing his debut record Migration Patterns to a sold out Jazz Station (EUG) audience in November 2017. It is available on iTunes, CDBaby, Spotify and Bandcamp.
