"The band is The Giant Kings, and you may not know that name, but you do likely know the name of the guitarist, Duke Levine. Levine's resume includes stints with Mary Chapin Carpenter, Peter Wolf, the J. Geils reunion and Dennis Brennan (and many many others). He joins with Kevin Barry on guitar and lap steel, Marty Ballou on bass, Andy Plaisted on drums, Paul Ahlstrand on tenor sax, Mark Earley on baritone sax and the amazing Chris Cote (Upper Crust) on vocals, to rip through classic R&B, soul and country soul from the '50's and '60's". - Jim Sullivan

"Like Lucinda Williams in a Carhartt jacket, Christy Hays works rugged metaphors into emotionally charged country folk." (Austin Chronicle). Christy Hays music has folk and country tinges, thoughtfully penned stories and a full band sound that is both driving alt country and moody folk rock. Christy Hays has released two full length albums and two EP's since 2009.
Her new album River Swimmer is due out in April of 2018 on Nine Mile Records. It brings the culmination of Christys influences and her experiences traveling the world.
