THE '76 HOUSE COMEDY NIGHT
It will be an evening of great food and laughs at the Comedy Night at the '76 House in Tappan, NY, on Thursday, March 8, 2018, produced by J. Irwin Productions. Show tickets and dinner reservations easily available through Brown Paper Tickets.
The headliner is the very funny Sandy Ehlers, a 15-year comedy veteran. She has performed at Comedy Clubs throughout the Northeast, including Comic Strip Live and Gotham Comedy Club in New York City and the world famous Friars Club. A runner-up in the NYC Ladies of Laughter, Sandy is working on her one-woman show "Brassy, Sassy, and Gassy," due to premiere soon in NYC.
Also on the bill will be:
Gladys Simon, the Comedy Legend who has mentored the nation's top comics for decades. Gladys has worked Comedy Clubs across the country and calls Comic Strip Live in New York City her comedy home, where she regularly produces shows right in "Gladys' Room."
George Saltz, a retired Clinical Psychologist who has appeared at Broadway Comedy Club and Comic Strip Live in New York City. George has appeared here at the '76 House several times in the past 4 years.
Andrea Glaser was a Finalist in the Ladies of Laughter competition and has appeared at Comedy Clubs throughout the region, including Tierney's Tavern, Tommy Fox's and Scotty's Comedy Cove in New Jersey and Levity Live in West Nyack, New York.
Tom Mongelli will be hosting the show. Tom has appeared at Comedy Venues throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania region, including Broadway Comedy Club in New York City and Scotty's Comedy Cove and Tierney's Tavern in New Jersey. Tom was also featured on Comics Watching Comics.
The '76 House is New York's oldest tavern, a 300 year old structure that has been restored to pristine condition by the Norden Family and is listed as a National Landmark. Besides the historical significance, patrons now enjoy fabulous food prepared by their acclaimed chef in a comfortable and hospitable atmosphere.
