SPEAKER: Dennis Probst - Vice President of Development
San Diego County Regional Airport Authority
PROGRAM: "San Diego International Airport Capital Development Update"
Dennis will give an update on capital development initiatives and major construction projects underway at San Diego International Airport, including the 3,000-space Parking Plaza next to Terminal 2, the new International Arrivals Facility, the runway resurfacing project and plans for the future replacement of Terminal 1.
Speaker Bio: Dennis Probst is the Vice President of Development for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. In this role, Probst oversees all aspects of planning, environmental affairs, capital improvements and facilities development.
Major projects under Probsts purview include the new international arrivals facility and the Terminal 2 Parking Plaza, both currently under construction. Probst will also help oversee the continuing refinement of the Airport Development Plan, which envisions the replacement of Terminal 1, in addition to other improvements.
Probst came to the Airport Authority in December 2017 from the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. In that role, he was responsible for airport planning and development activities, information technology functions, and management and operation of Minneapolis-St. Paul International and six general aviation airports in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Mr. Probst holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering, a bachelor of arts architecture degree and a master of architecture degree from Iowa State University.
