DADDY ISSUES follows MAYA, a talented, queer artist desperate to attend school in Italy, but lacking the means, Maya spends her days escaping into her drawings and social media, where she pines over the enigmatic JASMINE. Jasmine is an aspiring designer in an emotionally charged, co-dependent relationship with her neurotic sugar daddy, DR. SIMON CRAW. Unbeknownst to Jasmine, Simon has an estranged daughter who he hasnt seen in six years: its Maya.

All three become implicitly connected, though none of them realize it, and their respective relationships blossom. When Simon accidentally discovers Jasmine and Maya are intimate his renewed relationship to his daughter prompts him to break up with Jasmine. Forced to confront the agonizing reality, their heartbreaks propel all three characters to change their lives for the better, in one way or another

Director Statement
Daddy Issues was made for the misfits, the dreamers, the lovers, loners, and my queer family. I made this film for anyone who has ever had their heart broken. I push boundaries because we still have them.
