Oakwood & Friends: February 25th at Crawford and Son
In the spirit of Valentines Day, we will be celebrating 2 great couples that fell in love while working in the kitchen together. Our very own Chef de Cuisine Bret Edlund and Pastry Chef Krystle Swenson met in Chicago while working together at Blackbird, later finding themselves moving to Raleigh to work for Chef Crawford to explore their creativity. Chef Dean Neff and Pastry Chef Lydia Clopton met while working at 5&10 in Athens, Georgia.

After spending time in Georgia, Neff and Clopton moved to Asheville to further expand their culinary backgrounds. Dean Neff joined Chef John Fleer in 2013 to open the highly acclaimed Rhubarb, while Lydia was on the opening team for Nightbell, along with running her own wedding cake business. Chef Dean Neff and Chef Lydia Clopton now run Pinpoint Restaurant in the heart of downtown Wilmington. Pinpoint has quickly become a significant part of the culinary community and was named Best Fine Dining Restaurant by Wilmington Magazine and Best New Southern Restaurants by Southern Living in 2016.

Tickets are $125 per person, including wine, tax and gratuity, and can be purchased here.
