Live Talk: Let's Talk About Love
Live Talk show is an entertaining mash-up of short performances, engaging discussion with invited speakers, plus food + drink for purchase.
Join us February 21st 730pm at THE HOPLEAF 5148 N. Clark Street, Chicago's most popular Belgium Bar/Restaurant. The evening will be led by host Sharon Lanza (Mucca Pazza) plus some of Chicago's best improvisers Rashawn Scott, John Szymanski and Alex Kliner (Second City) perform favorite love songs.
Performances include sound, visual + performance artist Meg Leary, tap dancer Nico Rubio, storyteller, Julie Ganey; live music with The Glass Trio featuring Courtney Glascoe, Holly Stevens and Stacy Erenberg along with cellist Nora Barton, Julie Pomerleau (violin) and Marc Piane (bass).
The "Pivot DIY," a fun audience activity will be led by the inspiring arts advocate Erick Deshaun Dorris and there will be a discussion with actress Laura Fisher, one of the leaders of the NOT IN OUR HOUSE Chicago Theatre Standards, harassment guidelines now being used by theaters nationally.
This is a fun and eclectic night out. Kind of like a late night talk show? But different.
