Archival Roundtable and Presentation
Round Table discussion with Rick Prelinger and other attending filmmakers and scholars, including Rebels with a Cause filmmakers, Nancy Kelly and Kenji Yamamoto, who will talk about their experience working in dozens of archives and with archival material of local landscapes and political machinations.
Jason Osder (filmmaker and film professor at Georgetown University), who will present clips from his new feature, Let the Fire Burn, made exclusively from archival material surrounding the dramatic conflicts between police and members of the MOVE organization in Philadelphia in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
"Spotlight on the Archive" program curator, Papagena Robbins (Concordia University) will moderate this discussion. There will be opportunities for questions from the audience.
