August Wilson's The Piano Lesson (Centerstage Theatre Co.)
From the playwright who gave us Fences, The Piano Lesson tells the story of a brother and sister who argue over a piano that's been in their family for generations. Berniece Charles wants to keep it, but her brother Boy Willie intends to sell it and buy land. The story is a great lesson on keeping your heritage, while looking to the future. Centerstage Co-Founder Mitchell Vantrease directs the show.
