Top of the Market's ZD Wine Dinner
Norman deLeuze & Gino Zepponi founded ZD in the early days of California's wine industry, and they were among Napa Valleys adventurous winemaking pioneers. Their founding concept was to produce world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir reminiscent of Frances renowned Burgundy wines, an endeavor most would agree has been sincerely achieved.
The first wine ZD produced was a 1969 Pinot Noir. This founding wine has historical significance as it was the first wine to recognize Carneros on its label, 14 years before it was declared an official appellation.
Today, three generations of the deLeuze family continue looking to the future with a commitment to family, community, the environment and the production of world class wines.
Come join us at Top of the Market to learn more about this historic winery with perfect pairings from Top of the Market's Executive Chef Stafford Mather.
