Meet Founder Dave Engbers of Founders Brewing

Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers both had steady jobs when they decided to chase their dreams and open a brewerywhich meant writing a business plan, quitting their jobs, and taking out giant loans. They figured if youre going to live life, you ought to live it hard, without regrets.

After some initial challenges, due to making well balanced but unremarkable beers, they were on the verge of bankruptcy. It was at this point that the original Founders team decided to brew the kind of beer that got them excited about brewing in the first place: complex, in-your-face ales, with huge aromatics, bigger body, and tons of flavor.

Cask & Vine, being avid fans of Founders Brewing, have invited Dave Engbers to visit, share stories about the brewery, beers and the future of Founders Brewing Company. We have put together a 2-month long epic tap takeover between July and August, featuring some of Founders most renowned beers, tapping new verticals throughout the 2-month event:

Your ticket includes access to our July 17th event with Dave and 1 full size pour of any Founders beer on tap (though we cannot guarantee which beers will be on tap for the evening event).

Event is 21+. Proper ID required. Tickets are non-refundable. Seating will be first-come, however, all ticket holders are guaranteed a seat... even if it means you'll be sharing a table with new friends.
