Singin' And Swingin' The '70's starring Linda Kosut
Linda Kosut is an award-winning cabaret influenced jazz singer, an original native New Yorker, who now resides in San Francisco. A graduate of City College of New York, she has recorded three albums on CDs, Life Is But A Dream, Long As Youre Living and her latest, Easy Come, Easy Go. Lindas warm voice, enchanting and engaging style, and storytelling skills, lend well to her repertoire of Standards, done with her own fresh interpretations. She appears regularly in cabarets and jazz clubs including the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles, Davenports in Chicago, in San Francisco at Feinsteins at the Nikko Hotel, Yoshi's, Society Cabaret at Hotel Rex, Empire Plush Room, The Purple Onion, Octavia Lounge, and the Rrazz Room, at Egans in Seattle, and New York City at The Metropolitan Room, The Triad, and Dont Tell Mama. Her new show, Swingin And Singin The 70s, will be Lindas debut in the desert and will include SF musical director Dave Austin on piano as well as a local bass player.
