Based on the seminal 1980 hit movie, Dolly Parton and Patricia Resnick's 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL is about three unlikely friends who conspire to take control of their company and learn theres nothing they can't do. Pushed to the boiling point by their boss, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot. With a plan that spins wildly and hilariously out of control, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy, giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic, 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL is about teaming up and getting credit it's about kicking butt and taking care of business.
