Lobster Stew Supper

The Lobster Stew Supper is a long running tradition in Cape Elizabeth. It was first started and hosted by the Volunteer Fire Department as a fund raiser many years ago and continued on for decades. In the early 2000's, the event faded away, but left a very large footprint in the memories for many who enjoyed this event, even as children. In 2016, the Cape Farm Alliance decided to bring the traditional lobster stew supper back for the community to enjoy. The Farm Alliance welcomes you to join their mission of supporting local agriculture with this long standing traditional meal. We have reached out to our local lobster men who will be donating portions of their lobster catches from our local waters. Additionally, local businesses and families will be providing side dishes and desserts for this deeply rooted community event. Please join us for the Cape Farm Alliance's third annual Lobster Stew Supper hosted at the Purpoodock Club.
