The Washington Wind Symphony presents Sinfonia
Join Dr. Ed Powell and the Washington Wind Symphony as we present the third concert of our 37th season, Sinfonia, at Redmond Performing Arts Center. Youll hear a beautiful blend of popular wind music, including Ralph Vaughan Williams English Folk Song Suite, Symphony for Band, No. 6, by Persichetti, and This Cruel Moon, by Mackey, among other harmonic compositions that lovers of live, instrumental music are sure to enjoy.
Band bio The Washington Wind Symphony comprises 45-50 dedicated musicians who gather once a week for the pure enjoyment of the preservation of classic wind band literature. Performing a four-concert season at Redmonds intimate Performing Arts Center, the musicians have gained popularity on the Eastside of Seattle.
