About
Thomas Allen Harris explores the intersections of race, family, and sexuality in this experimental documentary, which focuses on three groups of queer black siblings (including the director and his brother) and the dynamics that have evolved between themselves, their families, and the worlds through which they travel. Jumping between film and video, interviews and monologues, and fantasy and reality, Harriss film makes the literal lyrical and the intimate epic, creating a fluid portrait of identity as shaped by the familial.
