Join us for a night of reclamation through poetry and music.
Adina K. Burke has just recently re-leased Wheelchairs, Whips and Bondage Tape and her first spoken word EP The Hatbox Collective, which are both punk as ever.
The evening will also feature music by Monica Colesaw of Subtle Beast and Ollie Renee Schminkey, familiar faces to those who frequently attend Button Poetry's monthly slam. and you may have heard of Subtle Beast through Monicas haunting EP HAZEL or just through seeing her and her full band rock it out at the Kitty Kat Club.
All of us believe that music and poetry can start conversations. So come sit, have a drink with us, laugh, reflect, and enjoy the show.
