QUEEN STREET Dance Workshop with Randy Ford
Randy Fords QUEEN STREET Dance Workshop is an open level master class that explores repertoire featured in Clocked. Participants will discover how to find the dancer within and exude that energy outward through guided improvisation and choreography. This is a contemporary class with elements of everything from Hip Hop, ballet, jazz to vogue.
Please wear clothes you can move in. Shoes/socks/barefeet are fine. A water bottle is nice too.
Randy Ford (Dynasty Luna), is a Seattle-born dancer, choreographer, actor, and activist. He/she/they grew up learning choreography in their living room from watching music videos as a child. It wasnt until the age of 17 when performing became a reality. After some time at the University of Washington, they became a member of Seattle's Au Collective, a collective of artists committed to bringing women, queer people, and people of color to the forefront of everything it does.
