Welcome to Seattle's March Is Cabaret Month Festival 2018!
This DISCOUNTED double-feature ticket buys you a seat for back-to-back shows, featuring two performers at 7 pm and a different two performers at 9 pm. (There will be a half-hour break from 8:30 to 9.)

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents: CAROLYN MAGOON in IN MY ROOM: SONGS I LOVE TO SING INTO A HAIRBRUSH
Join Carolyn as she journeys back to the 70s, 80s and 90s with songs that brought her such joy alone, on a stool, in front of a mirror, with her hairbrush - in her room.
ABOUT CAROLYN MAGOON
Carolyn has been performing everywhere for over three decades! She has enjoyed roles at the 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, ACT and several other regional theatres. Carolyn worked as a production singer for Carnival Cruise Lines and sang in a London wine bar back in the day. Carolyn was last seen as Marge in Showtunes Theatre Company's production of "The Bridges of Madison County". You can catch her around town in Hot Lava, a B-52s tribute band. She is thrilled to be joining March Is Cabaret Month for her sixth year!
MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents: GRETCHEN RUMBAUGH in "BEATLES SONGSPIEL REDUX"
After their initial exploration at MICM in 2016, GRETCHEN RUMBAUGH and JOHN ENGERMAN take another dive back into the BEATLES canon, creating fresh theatrical/jazz interpretations of some of the Fab Four's most enduring songs.
ABOUT GRETCHEN RUMBAUGH
This is Gretchen Rumbaugh's third year performing in MICM, and she's tickled to be back! Cabaret being a favorite performing platform for Gretchen, she created, produced and hosted four years of CABARET CHANTEUSE, a popular monthly theatrical singer showcase in Portland. Seattle audiences may remember her as an original member of the long-running hit show ANGRY HOUSEWIVES. Some of her favorite stage roles include Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, SHIRLEY VALENTINE, Mama Rose in GYPSY, Dot/Marie in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, and Lucy Brown in THE THREEPENNY OPERA.
MARCH IS CABARET MONTH PRESENTS: ANGIE LOUISE in "NIGHT ROADS"
Hop in the passenger seat and let Angie's rich, bluesy vocals and captivating songwriting roll you into the moonlit unknown with songs about love, risk, voyage and transformation. Here's to roadside diners and all-night breakfast.
ABOUT ANGIE LOUISE
A performer-writer working in music, theatre and film, Angie is the longtime frontwoman and songwriter for Weimar Berlin-influenced band The Love Markets; record releases include 2016's BEAUTY FACTORY and 2013's WORLD OF YOUR DREAMS. A member of Actors' Equity since 2000, she's performed numerous principal roles with leading regional companies including The 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, Theatre Under The Stars (Houston), Ordway (St. Paul), and more. Film credits include screenwriter/songwriter/actress on two award-winning features; writing awards include the Academy of American Poets Prize. MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents: GABRIELLE NICOLE in "A SCREW LOOSE"
Where did Gabrielle leave her missing screw? We'll explore this mystery, along with the many ways in which we all have a screw loose, by listening for clues in classic music from the 1940s, Broadway and today. Her soaring soprano and over-all goofiness never fail to entertain. Join her for an evening of fun and folly!
ABOUT GABRIELLE NICOLE
Gabrielle Nicole has been singing for as long as she can remember. She mostly likes to make people laugh and to connect with her audience by showing her own vulnerability. She has performed many genres, including musical theatre, classical, rock/pop, and a cappella. Some of her favorite roles include Peggy Sawyer in "42nd Street", Gertrude McFuzz in "Seussical the Musical" and Belle May Carroca in "My Favorite Year". She is currently a soprano in Joyful!Noise choir and seeking additional singing opportunities.
