Nothing is more beautiful than beds of summer flowers and organic veggies! Join Dela for a tour of the gardens at Innisfree. Learn about organic practices, pollinators, heirloom varieties, mulching and more. You can pick a bouquet to arrange and take home. Feel free to set up a chair relax and draw your arrangement. Budding or seasoned artists are welcome to stay and draw. We will have an artist on site for guidance.
Children (ages 7 and over) welcome with ticketed adult and own paid ticket (for the child).
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
About Innisfree Farmstay and Retreat / Scotch Hill Farm
Pioneers in organic farming for more than 20 years, Scotch Hill Farm raises certified organic vegetables, herbs and flowers for their CSA (community supported agriculture) on a family farm. Chickens, sheep. goats and pigs add to the farm's diversity. Goat milk soap and natural skin care products are made on the farm. Surplus veggies are canned for the CSA and winter market sales.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.
