Join Lauren Rudersdorf of Raleigh's Hillside Farm and close friend, fellow farmer and writer Vanessa Herald of Make Time Farm for a mini retreat on the farm. After a brief, facilitated opening activity, attendees will be given time to work independently. This two-hour session is modeled after Vanessa's monthly full-day retreats on her farm where "Make Time holds the space for you to be present in a way that is meaningful for you and your self-directed projects. We provide the beautiful, distraction-free location. You provide yourself, your supplies, and your project. (Be it a Ph.D. dissertation, a nap, a book to read, or an album to write.) Make Time is your permission slip to dive deeply into your own work and your own world."
All ages welcome with paid ticket.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
