Hosted by Bastard Keith Performances by: Amelia Bareparts, Cassandra Rosebeetle, Matt Knife, Minx Arcana, Ruby Valentine & Francine "The Lucid Dream"
Francine "The Lucid Dream" has dreamed up quite a few crazy things but she never dreamed that her David Lynch-themed burlesque show would be more than a one-off, nevermind last two full years! Still hot from January's Miss Twin Peaks Pageant, The Pink Room will celebrate with a show dedicated to the darker side of Lynch. Lynch is known for his absurd, macabre and sometimes grotesque work as well as his quirky humor and this show aims to focus more on the former, of course with The Pink Room's usually recipe of glamour and cheek. This dark cabaret will venture into the Black Lodge of Twin Peaks, the radiator of Eraserhead and the porno dens of Lost Highway.
The Pink Room Burlesque is a tribute to and satire of the works of David Lynch. Since the anniversary of Laura Palmer's death in February of 2011, Francine and The Pink Room cast have covered everything from Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me, Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead & Inland Empire. Dune soon to come!
"Through the darkness of futures past, The magician longs to see, One chance out between two worlds, Fire Walk With Me." The One-Armed Man
