Louis Landon & Christine Brown at Schmitt Music - Denver
Tickets will be $20 and $25 at the door.
CHRISTINE BROWN grew up in Colorado, discovering her love for the piano at an early age, taking piano lessons and accompanying school vocal groups. While studying business at the University of Colorado, she was inspired by new age pianists George Winston and Peter Kater, yet the piano remained a hobby. Years later, Christine rediscovered her passion for playing, immersing herself in her music after the loss of her mother in 1990. She began composing, using the piano to voice her emotions, releasing heartfelt compositions that captured listeners. Christine's early compositions were selected for a piano compilation album, a turning point for her desire to create piano music. Today, Christine continues to play and compose, releasing 9 CDs, including Christmas albums and a collection of children's music. Her new age compositions are heartfelt, emotional stories with a contemporary classical twist. Her latest original CD, "The Wishing Well " was nominated for Solo Piano album of the Year 2012 by Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, SoloPiano.com and Zone Music Reporter New Age. The CD "Promise" was also nominated "Whisperings Solo Piano Album of the Year 2009". Christine's music can be heard on Pandora, iTunes, Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, Muzak, SkyFM, En El Aire, cable and satellite channels, Healing Healthcare Systems, and is internationally distributed. She currently resides in San Diego, CA. Find Christine's music at www.ChristineBrownPiano.com or on iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.
