Mopco Intermediate Improv Class: 6 Mondays
We'll continue to explore the basic tools of improv--being spontaneous, yes and, daring to be obvious, celebrating failure, making your partner look good--in a class designed to delight. Class number 6 will include a brief performance for invited friends and family.
Six sessions, two and a half hours each. Each class will consist of warmup games, a look at the goals for the evening, a series of exercises, and feedback. A combination of new group and small scene exercises will be presented each night.
This class is for people with at least a basic introduction to improv who want to expand their range of performance choices both on and off stage, be more comfortable in the lime light, find better ways to collaborate, and most of all, to have fun! Improvisers, comics, and actors will of course find value, but so will teachers, trainers, salespeople, and many others who sometimes need to perform as part of their life.
Class is limited to 16 participants, so register early!
