Dick Ho: Asian Male Porn Star USA | 32:00 | 2005 | Documentary | Jeffrey Lei
This fascinating and titillating documentary explores an Asian male porn legend named Dick Ho who supposedly existed during the 1970s-'80s golden era of porn. Dick Ho was so well endowed that a white porn industry conspiracy kept him from becoming a superstar. Through vintage clips and interviews with porn legends Annie Sprinkle, Kay Parker, Juliet Anderson, Mika Tan, and Sharon Mitchell, the film takes a UFO and Bigfoot approach to reclaiming the Asian male libido.

++NIGHT FEATURE++ 'Simply FOBulous' Saturday, February 18th 7:25 - 10:40 pm Downtown Initiative for the Visual Arts $6 - $10 sliding scale USA | 86:00 | 2005 | Drama/Narrative | Richard Cranor (Parental Advisory: Adult Situations, Language)
Simply FOBulous is a romantic Comedy about Thuy Nguyen, a rebellious daughter who succumbs to her mother's dying wish for her to marry a Vietnamese mail-order husband. But when Dung, the mail-order husband, arrives, she is determined not to follow through with the arrangement. As hilarity ensues, Dung finds himself being looked down upon as a FOB, "Fresh-Off-the-Boat," in the midst of a family being driven apart even as they struggle to hold onto their past. Through his example Dung shows the family where they've gone astray and that being a FOB, far from shameful, can be simply FOBulous. - Chau Nguyen
