Jazz Roots Dance Company Spring Season Performances
SATURDAY, APRIL 27th, 8pm - Gala Performance and Cocktail Reception.
Saturday, April 27th will be our Gala Performance, and your chance to "Get in the Groove" with our fun, 70s theme Cocktail Reception.
There will also be a raffle and silent auction, with some amazing items up for grabs, such as, works of art and concert tickets.
It's going to be an exciting evening! There will also be a live singing performance by William Daniel Grey.
We will have a special guest on Saturday evening, Jason Samuels Smith, will MC the event.
SATURDAY, APRIL 27th - Performance at 8pm.
PLEASE ARRIVE FROM 7PM TO VIEW THE SILENT AUCTION ITEMS
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
After the show, there will be a 70s theme Gala Party.
You have a choice of tickets:
General Admission - $50 for the performance and the 70s cocktail reception OR
V.I.P. seating - $100 for special seating, plus champagne and a Jazz Roots Dance T-shirt and the 70s cocktail reception.
Available in advance or CASH AT THE DOOR.
SUNDAY, APRIL 28th - Performances at 2pm and 6pm.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtimes.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 CASH AT THE DOOR.
Student discount with valid Student ID, $20 cash at the door.
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE:
The evening will be a feast of Classic Jazz, including Jazz Roots Dance Company's showpiece, "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". We will also perform, "It's About Time" a creative take on different time signatures, and theatrical pieces such as "Fly Me to the Moon", "Rat Pack" and "Fever". Two pieces never seen before will be premiered that night.
