GMDD February 2nd Home Bout

The Green Mountain Derby Dames (GMDD) are back at the Champlain Valley Exposition for 2013 starting with the season opener on February 2nd. For this years season opener we're going Comic Con style so don your favorite costume to win prizes at the second halftime!

Roller Derby competition is heating up around the world and Vermont's first roller derby league brings you double header bouts for all 5 home games in 2013. Doors open at 4pm with games at 4:30 and 7pm.

GMDD's Black Ice Brawlers (The B Team) will be playing the first bout of the evening (4:30pm) against Plattsburg Roller Derby's Lumber Jills. The Brawlers narrowly won a scrimmage against the Jills in January 2012 so no matter which side of the lake your cheering for make sure to come out and support your team for the win!

GMDD's Grade A Fancy (The A Team) will be playing the second bout of the evening (7pm) against the Montreal Sexpos.

Don't forget to bring a bit of extra cash to get your hands on some new GMDD merch and grab a beer in our enormous beer garden.
