Resources for Managing Your Land Workshop
Do you know what resources are available to assist you in making the most of your land? Join the Small Acreage Program for a free informational session to learn tips on how to best manage your property. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet other local farmers, and learn about resources available in Clark County.
Noe Penney of the Small Acreage Program and Anne Lawrence of Storytree Farms will talk about the Small Acreage Program, including the Model Property Program. Denise Smee of Clark Conservation District will provide information about farm plans, conservation programs, and conservation grants available to landowners in Clark County. Mike Monfort of Clark County Vegetation Management will speak about weed identification, control, and the Weed Free Forage Program.
The session will be organized by the Small Acreage Program, which is co-sponsored by Washington State University Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program.
