Thomas Reynolds Lecture Series: "Outside Inclusion: A Care-Full Hospitality in the Church"
Thomas E. Reynolds, Associate Professor of Theology at Emmanuel College, University of Toronto, will give a series of lectures at University Congregational United Church of Christ in Seattle, focusing on Hospitality. Dr. Reynolds will speak on Interfaith Hospitality and the provocation of disability for faith communities. Thomas Reynolds explores Christian engagements with diversity in a global context, promoting hospitality and reconciliation among people. His book, "Vulnerable Communion: A Theology of Disability and Hospitality" was shortlisted for the 2011 Michael Ramsey Prize by the Archbishop of Canterbury. It reflects on his life as a parent of a child with disabilities and envisions a church wide with welcome.
