Live Roller Derby: British Champs Double Header
Mark your calendars: after promotion in 2017, Bath Roller Derby Girls are proud to announce their leg of British Champs: Tier 2 South!
We've got two amazing bouts of fast and furious roller derby lined up for your viewing pleasure:
+ Bath Spartans vs. S.W.A.T
+ Royal Windsor Roller Derby vs. London Batter C Power
Both of these fantastic match ups should see some epic action on track, with everything to play for as each team battles it out for precious Champs points!
*** WHERE ***
After losing our only home venue to redevelopment last year, we're hopping down the road to Bristol, where we've got a cracking hall lined up at SGS College WISE Campus Sports Hall. Tiered seating for unrivalled views of the action, derby mall, our famous charity cake sale. We've even heard rumours that they might open the bar...
*** FIRST BOUT ***
In our opening bout, Bath Spartans will come up against South West sisters, S.W.A.T! As newcomers to Tier 2, the Spartans will be looking to up their game to make a big impact and match the step up in play. S.W.A.T's reputation as a tactical and tightly-drilled unit promises a cracking first match up for the day. (First Whistle 2pm.)
*** SECOND BOUT ***
In our second bout of the day, the beasts from the East! We're delighted to be hosting Royal Windsor Roller Derby and London Batter C Power, for a bout that's going to have the whole hall on the edge of their seats. Everything to play for! (First Whistle estimated 4.20pm.)
*** EXTRA FUN ***
In addition to these two family friendly bouts, we'll also have stalls for you to browse, a brilliant raffle, shedloads of baked goods, and a kids' corner with lots of roller derby themed activities to keep your little ones entertained.
