Hear Chris Avis talk about her work and her inspiration for her exhibition of the in-depth exploration of, not only mother and child, but of child and mother and how their relationship changes and develops as the child grows up and becomes an adult. The sensitive use of the material and the complimentary quality of the photographs and video enable the work to flow together into one joyful narrative.
